Our Year 5/6 students had the perfect weather conditions on Wednesday when competing in our District Cross Country race, with no wind or rain in sight. As an extra bonus, we were blessed with a beautiful sunny day of late autumn, alhamdulillah.
Cross Country running is a big test for anyone who has got what it takes to challenge some of the hardest terrains. Bundoora Park鈥檚 Mount Cooper is one of the highest natural points in metro Melbourne.
There were 12 races in total across the Bridge Inn South and Bridge Inn North District. Over 1,000 students were present, trying their best to outdo one another for the 2km and 3km courses. Our ASC students did their best giving everything they had to survive the duration of the race.
