As part of this week’s Value of the Week "Making a Difference", our Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 students are looking at ways we can benefit the community and make a difference to the lives of those less fortunate.
We would like to collect one tin/can donation of non-perishable items from each student to support families in dire need. We encourage each student to contribute to this worthy cause to help support and ease the lives of refugees in Melbourne. The collection of canned food will be donated to the Mosquito Foundation.
We are hopeful that all families can partake in this wonderful and rewarding project, inShaAllah.
Examples of cans of non-perishable food include:
- Tuna
- Canned Vegetables
- Canned Soup
- Canned Fruit
- Canned beans
The final day for collection will be on Friday, 20 October, 2017.
