Our recent Book Week family reading picnic was a wonderful success, bringing together parents, children, and staff for a day filled with the joy of books and bonding.
Both indoor and outdoor spaces were alive with the sounds of stories being shared, laughter, and meaningful conversations. Families found cozy spots to settle down with their favourite reads, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere while fostering a love for literature in their children. Whether under the open sky near the canteen or in the warm assembly area in Building A, the event provided a perfect setting for quality family time centred around books.
The picnic highlighted the strong sense of community at our College, as parents actively engaged in creating special memories with their children. It was heart warming to see friendships blossoming and a shared love for reading connecting everyone involved.
