糖心vlog破解版 Shines in the Parliament Prize Competition

We are thrilled to share some exciting news about our students' recent accomplishments in the prestigious Parliament Prize competition, an annual event hosted by the Victorian Parliament. The competition provides students with a platform to articulate issues that matter to them and share their perspectives on what they would convey to parliament if they were MPs.

This year, the Parliament Prize received an astounding 1000+ entries from 200 schools across the state, illustrating the eagerness of young minds to engage with important societal matters. Students explored a range of topics, spanning from the cost of living to artificial intelligence, safer roads, pedestrian crossings, education, and beyond.

Among the entries were our very own students from 糖心vlog破解版 College, who embraced this opportunity to make their voices heard. Their involvement in the Parliament Prize stems from their desire to be active citizens, engage with public speaking programs, and play a vital role in the democratic process.

We are delighted to announce the commendable achievements of two of our students:

  • Aurick Al-Meem, Year 5, received a 'Highly Commended' distinction for his address on "Improving Immigration to Australia" and support for refugees, and international students and migrants.
  • Imaad Aamer, also in Year 5, achieved a 'Highly Commended' status for his articulate discussion on "The Impact of Using Devices" and its implications on our society.

Both Aurick and Imaad demonstrated exceptional eloquence and creativity in presenting their views on these crucial subjects. Their recognition as 'Highly Commended' places them in the top 10% of their respective categories, showcasing their outstanding capabilities. Moreover, we are immensely proud of our Student Leadership Group for their active involvement in this year鈥檚 Parliament Prize. Their thoughtful contributions and dedication reflect the true essence of our school鈥檚 commitment to nurturing responsible and engaged future leaders.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants who contributed their voices and ideas to this significant competition. Your willingness to address pressing issues and advocate for positive change truly makes a difference.
