The Golden Age Producation Roadshow at SalamFest 2023

We are thrilled to announce that our Primary School students had the wonderful opportunity to perform the The Golden Age Production on stage in front of a live audience at the annual SalamFest Muslim Festival over two days on this past weekend.

Our students showcased various performances and nasheeds over the two days reflecting the rich and diverse history of Islam鈥檚 Golden Ages.

SalamFest is an annual event that welcomes all people in celebrating contemporary Muslim arts, culture, food and more. This year, the event was attending by many notable delegates including the Chair of Victoria Multicultural Commission Vivienne Nguyen.

This year鈥檚 theme for SalamFest was the long and peaceful trading history between the Makassar Indonesian Muslim fisherman and the Yolngu people of Arnhem land in far north Queensland. "Australian history is intrinsically connected to our First Nations people. The Muslim connection to the Aboriginal community spans through a 500-year-old trading relationship with the Makassar Indonesian Muslims. SalamFest is thrilled to be celebrating this historical milestone in Australian history with the SalamFest Muslim Arts Festival 2023. It will be a celebration of culture, diversity, and unity through musical fusion and the delectable flavours of the Muslim world."
