The final fundraising total for the 2021 Great Cycle Challenge has been revealed by the Children’s Medical Research Institute to be a massive $6,976,263 for kids fighting cancer. These funds will support CMRI to continue their important work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment for childhood cancer.
Team ÌÇÐÄvlogÆƽâ°æ became first Australia-wide in the school category, mashaAllah! We have ridden just under 1,000km throughout October and raised the fantastic amount of $5,869! We have been awarded a medal by the event organisers which can be seen in the attached photo.
Our team is looking forward to participating in the Great Cycle Challenge again in 2022, marking the 10th anniversary for cycling team captain Ms Tanja in riding for kids fighting cancer.
A very big and heartfelt THANK YOU once more to everyone who has so generously donated to support these gravely ill children and their families: JazakAllah khairan and may Allah reward you in this world and the thereafter. YOUR generosity has touched our hearts and will see us continue our joined fight to find a cure for childhood cancers. YOU are being part of the movement to fight kids’ cancer and save little lives.
