On today's Friday, 20th October 2023, we farewelled our absolutely outstanding Year 12 cohort on their last official day at school which made for both a highly inspiring and deeply moving day for our graduating Class of 2023.
Our Year 12's had an opportunity to reflect on their experiences at the College with their peers and coordinators. Teachers and students shared their journeys, words of advice, laughter and tears in farewell speeches and personal gift from their coordinators. The traditional farewell cake was cut by our outgoing College Captains Zainab and Osama, and group photos taken before our Year 12 cohort were seen off by the assembled Secondary School student body and staff in a separate assembly run by our Student Representative Council (SRC).
We would like to wish our Year 11 and 12 students all the very best and much success for their upcoming VCE exams, commencing with English on next week's Tuesday, 24th October. It is hard to put into words how much we appreciate you all and all the hard work and resilience you have shown.
We ask our entire school community to please keep our VCE students in your prayers and du'as during this demanding exam time ahead! JazakAllah khairan.
